There are many, many flavor combinations that I love and adore.
The list could go on and on.
But there is one combo that holds an extra special place in my heart: chocolate banana peanut butter.
OmNOMnomNOMnomNOMnomNOMnomNOMnom!!!!!
If you share my passion for this delectable trio, then prepare yourself.
You’re about to fall.
Hard.
Oh, but what a beautiful, tasty fall it will be!
You might recall me comparing the Berries and Cream Overnight Oats to a delicious yogurt parfait. Well, I’d have to compare this sweet little number to a cool, creamy pudding.
Hooray for a healthy, balanced breakfast that is just as much of a treat as dessert (if not more)!! 🙂
Chocolate Banana Peanut Butter Overnight Oats
(Serves 1)
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 1/3 cup whole milk (I use raw milk, fresh from the farm)
- 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt (make your own!)
- 1/4 cup mashed, ripe banana (about 1/2 of a small banana)
- 1/4 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. date sugar or raw honey (optional: I didn’t use any, as I found the banana sweetened it plenty, but you can certainly add some if you’d like!)
- 1 T all-natural peanut butter
- Raw cacao nibs (or dark chocolate chips, if you prefer), for sprinkling
Dig in!!
Feel free to put on your experimental chef’s hat and explore a variety of flavors! The jars will keep for several days in the fridge…so you can whip up a big batch on Sunday afternoon, and be set to breeze through the hectic weekday mornings ahead!
Do you have an all-time favorite flavor combo??
