NomEatNom - Product Review and Giveaway: Tropical Traditions’ Raw Honey

I know I’ve already shared my love and adoration for raw honey in the past, but today I’m here to share what I’ve found to be the absolute BEST raw honey I’ve ever tasted!!

Seriously.

You must try it.

Just by looking at this honey, I could tell it was of higher quality than any of the other local, raw honey I’ve been able to find in the past. It is nontransparent with a rich, creamy consistency. That certainly can’t be said for many of the supposedly “raw” honeys we’ve found at local markets lately. Then, don’t even get me started on its incredible taste! I think I literally staggered when tasting it.

Yes. It’s that good.

Of course, this shouldn’t have surprised me, considering the high standards Tropical Traditions uses for the coconut oil. You will find that the same care and attention is put into producing their raw honey, too. As conveyed clearly on their website:

“Tropical Traditions Organic Raw Honey has not been subjected to the heat of processing, only warmed enough to flow (same temperatures the honey would see inside the hive). We select only premium honey that is pure, smooth and creamy, with the consistency of soft margarine at harvest. It contains live yeast and enzymes, because it has not been processed. It also contains pollen because it has not been filtered—merely screened.”

I have to say, after tasting the cream of the crop, I will never turn back to other raw honey; there just is no comparison!

The hubby emphatically agreed with me, too. In fact, after tasting his first spoonful, he could not stop professing how incredibly yummy it was — even well after the conversation had drifted to other topics. Considering the the hub’s attention span has given him the moniker “Spastic Squirrel,” this devoted focus on the honey’s greatness was huge.
