It’s hard to believe that we’ve already made it to October!! In fact, it’s almost MID-October!!

How did that even happen?!?
Well, ready or not, autumn is here! And, as much as I’ll miss summer, I do love everything autumn brings with it: crunching leaves, chimney smoke, cinnamon, vanilla, and pumpkin!
Oooooooo, pumpkin! You may recall my adoration for all things pumpkin — especially pumpkin pie!
So, in the spirit of fall, I combined all of its goodness into a delicious and nutritious green smoothie!

Pumpkin Pie Green Smoothie
(Serves 1 to 2)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup milk (preferably raw)
- 1 scoop Raw Protein (optional)
- 1 banana, frozen
- 1 cup pure pumpkin puree
- 3 handfuls raw, organic spinach
- 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 2 to 3 handfuls ice
- Raw pecans, for sprinkling
Combine the first eight ingredients in the blender, and blend until smooth and creamy. Sprinkle with raw pecans and extra pumpkin pie spice, if desired.
